Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (Bup) in Ystad consists of an outpatient unit where outpatient care is the foundation of clinical operations. We also have an intermediate care unit, an eating disorder team, and an outpatient clinic for the age group zero to five years. We are a team of approximately 45 employees consisting of nurses, psychologists, psychotherapists, health and social care counselors, social workers, child psychiatrists, resident physicians, medical secretaries, physical therapists, occupational therapists, trainee psychologists, and a unit manager. During school terms, we often also have social work students, psychology students, and nursing students. WORK DUTIES As a nurse with us, you work with children, young people, and their families. With us, you perform typical nursing duties within the scope of your competence, both independently and in teams. Work tasks may include telephone counseling, monitoring of medication treatment, digital interventions, conversations, group treatments, information meetings, and registration in quality registries. Bup Ystad also actively participates in various collaborative arrangements, such as network activities in cooperation with schools and municipalities in the surrounding area. Our operations are characterized by broad child and adolescent psychiatric expertise with a strong focus on developmental issues and interprofessional collaboration among different professional groups. We offer you customized orientation based on your competencies and experience. Supervision and mentoring occur in various forms, and accompanying on-the-job training is approximately three weeks. Work hours are scheduled on weekdays 08.00-16.30 with a flexible time agreement. QUALIFICATIONS You who are applying are a licensed nurse with authorization to practice within Swedish healthcare. Additionally, you have Swedish language skills corresponding to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe scale. If you have specialist training in psychiatry or child and adolescent care, we consider that a merit. It is also positive if you have previous work experience as a nurse and/or work experience in child psychiatric assessment, treatment, and investigation work. Furthermore, it is also a merit if you have experience with the Melior medical records system and the Våps scheduling system. It is important that you enjoy and have an interest in working with groups, family work, individual contacts, and collaborating with colleagues and other healthcare providers. The work requires that you have good initiative skills and are responsible and flexible. Furthermore, you contribute positively to teamwork by sharing your knowledge and experience.
