About the Operation Health Center Sälen operates an exciting seasonally-varied healthcare service with focus on both planned and acute care. The resident population is approximately 3,600 people, but during high season over 120,000 visitors are present in the Sälenfjällen area. The surrounding region has a clear rural character with long distances and 10 miles (16 km) to the nearest hospital. One of our nurses has been accepted to a specialist nurse education program, and therefore we are seeking you as a licensed nurse for a temporary position. Start date as soon as possible – but of course this is negotiable. There is a possible opportunity to extend the employment. We have stable core staffing of all personnel categories and have good cooperation among ourselves. We work continuously with well-being and work environment issues through, for example, SAMS. Staff numbers double during the winter season, and additional nurses, physicians, and medical secretaries are hired in particular. In short, this is a stimulating workplace year-round and especially eventful during winter season – and there are excellent opportunities for an active leisure life if you enjoy forests and mountains. Job Responsibilities As a nurse with us, you work with both scheduled consultations and acute care. You also provide telephone advice in the TeleQ system as well as digital care via 1177 Direkt. You work both independently and together with colleagues from various professional groups. Qualifications Requirements: Licensed nurse Personal Qualities: We believe you are personally flexible as your role is varied and consists of different tasks and cooperation with various personnel categories. You have good communication skills and are confident in your nursing responsibility. You enjoy both fast-paced and quieter periods. We place great importance on personal suitability.
