We are now hiring registered nurses who want to work a three-shift schedule at Remeo! What is Remeo? Approximately five percent of patients who survive intensive care remain in the ICU for an extended period because they are too ill to progress further in the care pathway. That's where Remeo comes in. Remeo's intensive care rehabilitation is a newly developed and specially designed form of care in Sweden for long-term critically ill patients. We provide highly specialized and high-technology care and rehabilitation outside the traditional hospital environment. Starting from intensive/intermediate care, we create an individualized care plan for each patient, where rehabilitation and care go hand in hand from day one. As a registered nurse at Remeo, you also receive a favorable financial supplement for each night shift. What will you be doing? Caring for patients with varying diagnoses and complex care needs. Together with your colleagues in the multiprofessional team, you participate in care work and rehabilitation. Caring for patients with varying needs for respiratory support, such as tracheostomy, invasive or non-invasive ventilation, and oxygen therapy Operating medical-technical equipment Who are you? You hold a Swedish registered nurse license You are dedicated, confident in your competence, and prioritize the patient's needs You work well with others, are flexible, and enjoy supporting and teaching colleagues, while also working independently You preferably have prior experience from acute care, neurology, pulmonology, cardiology, rehabilitation, and/or home care nursing You have previous experience working nights and want to continue doing so More information and application This is a permanent position on a three-shift schedule (with possible opportunity for night shift arrangement). Employment will begin with two-shift work for 2-3 months depending on prior experience, so you have the opportunity to become familiar with the operations. Our patients Approximately 2/3 of our patients are referred from Stockholm healthcare while approximately 1/3 are referred from the rest of Sweden. The typical patient is very frail after a long intensive care stay and often has several complicating conditions in their background. Beautiful and modern environment The clinic is located in a scenic setting at Stora Sköndal by Drevviken and currently has capacity for 15 patients. The facilities and equipment are designed to provide modern healthcare in a welcoming, comfortable environment with opportunities for training, outdoor activities, and time with family members.
