We are seeking a nurse for our team at the Adult Psychiatry Clinic in Sala. You will be welcomed to a pleasant workplace characterized by openness, good camaraderie, and humor. Duties As a nurse with us, you will have varied work where you meet patients with specialized psychiatric care needs. You will have your own clinic and be responsible for planning and structuring your patient work. You schedule and follow up with patients, manage waiting lists, and ensure your schedule is used efficiently. Your tasks include supportive, caring, and follow-up conversations, health checks, medication administration, and evaluation of medication treatment. You will work in close collaboration with the clinic team and with other healthcare providers. The role also includes telephone advice, administration in 1177, and documentation in the Cosmic medical records system. About the Workplace In Region Västmanland, all adult psychiatry is gathered in one organization, which creates favorable conditions for a well-functioning care chain and good collaboration between different units. Adult Psychiatry Västmanland is divided into two sections: inpatient care and outpatient care. Inpatient care is located in Västerås and consists of five care wards and an emergency clinic. Adult psychiatric outpatient clinics are located in Västerås, Köping, Fagersta, and Sala. The clinic provides care to people with specialized psychiatric care needs that cannot be provided within primary care. Work is mainly conducted at the clinic, but home visits occur and are carried out together with a colleague. Meetings can also take place digitally. The team includes physicians, nurses, psychologists, a social worker, an occupational therapist, and medical secretaries. Qualifications We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse with good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, as the work involves close patient contact and extensive documentation. It is advantageous if you have specialist training in psychiatry, experience working in psychiatric care, or clinic work. Knowledge of the Cosmic medical records system and a Class B driver's license is also advantageous. We are looking for you who are confident and secure in your professional role and who enjoy working independently. You have a respectful, empathetic, and professional approach in your interactions with patients and their relatives. You collaborate well with others and communicate clearly and attentively, both with colleagues and external healthcare providers.
