About the role You are central to the residents' health and medical care services and work to provide quality of life. You are responsible for ensuring that medical prescriptions are followed. You regularly conduct risk assessments and follow-ups to ensure good quality in the operations. Collaboration and support You are part of a team with care staff, nurses, occupational therapist, and physiotherapist. An important role for you is to coach and train the care staff so that together you give each resident the best possible life. In this work you collaborate closely with the facility's group leaders who are responsible for care staff. Our group leaders also coach and work together with the teams in daily work. We invest in leadership development for you as a nurse. One course we can offer you is "Leading Without Being a Manager". Getting to know the residents Understanding the residents' wishes and noticing small changes in their health and medical condition is often crucial for correct assessments and decisions. Our residents are often dealing with multiple medical conditions and it requires that you have both comprehensive knowledge of various illnesses and conditions as well as an interest in the aging person. Good computer skills and experience with documentation are important.
