About the Operation Vårdcentral Särna operates an exciting seasonally variable healthcare facility where we focus on both planned and acute care. The resident population is approximately 1,600 people, but during peak season many visitors join those staying in the mountain region. The surrounding area has a distinct sparsely populated character with long distances and 12 miles to the nearest hospital from VC. We have good collaboration between all staff categories. We work continuously on well-being and workplace environment issues. We are in a development phase regarding how we will look and work going forward. In short, this is a stimulating workplace year-round and especially eventful during winter season – and there are good opportunities for an active outdoor life if you enjoy forests and mountains. Job Responsibilities As a nurse with us, you play a key role in the daily work of the health center. You work both at scheduled clinics and with acute care. You are also responsible for telephone advice in the TeleQ system as well as digital care via 1177 Direkt, among other things. We work closely together while there is great scope for independence, own initiatives, and personal development. Working hours are typically weekdays during daytime. On-call duty, evening and weekend shifts are included. Work is primarily at Särna Vårdcentral medical clinic, but may also include work at the district nurse clinic in Särna and/or in Idre. Qualifications We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse have a driver's license (category B) have good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written It is an advantage if you have experience with telephone advice and clinic work at a health center/clinic you have experience within one of our areas of responsibility Personal Qualities: We place great emphasis on you taking responsibility, being positive and constructive.
