We are a stable and well-functioning unit with 10,600 registered residents serving an area with a unique combination of multicultural urban life and Scanian countryside. The medical clinic has six specialists in general medicine and seven trainee doctors (ST, AT, and BT). We are a multifaceted operation with clinics for nurses, district nurses, physiotherapists, social workers, and a dietitian and occupational therapist. We have specialized nurse-led clinics for asthma/COPD, diabetes, heart failure, cognitive impairment, and targeted health consultations. There is also a well-developed rehabilitation coordinator function at 100%, an elderly care clinic, a lifestyle clinic, and a mobile care team. In telephone advice and primary care triage, the first assessment is handled smoothly by nurses with support from doctors, physiotherapists, and nursing assistants. The waiting room has an interpreter and service representative. Competence development is important to us, and we are happy to try new working methods. Then you are warmly welcome to join our great team! As a nurse/district nurse, you will work with telephone advice, care of acute patients, wound dressings, medical administration, and clinic work. You will also work with triage. Of course, you will receive internal training based on your existing qualifications and areas of interest, to best meet patients' needs. With us, you will be part of a great team of nurses and district nurses, where we are approximately fifteen colleagues who collaborate and share experiences. Evening and weekend shifts may occur. QUALIFICATIONS For this position, you must be a licensed nurse or an advanced district nurse authorized to practice in Swedish healthcare. Swedish language proficiency of at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale is required. As the position involves travel, a valid B driver's license is required. Previous experience as a diabetes nurse and/or from primary care work is meritorious.
