We are a stable and well-functioning unit with 10,600 registered residents serving an area with a unique combination of multicultural city life and Scanian countryside. The physician clinic has six specialists in general medicine and seven training physicians (ST, AT, and BT). We are a multifaceted operation with clinics for nursing assistants, district nurses, physiotherapists, counselors, as well as dietitian and occupational therapist. We have specialized nurse-based clinics for asthma/COPD, diabetes, heart failure, cognitive decline, and targeted health consultations. There is also a well-developed rehabilitation coordinator function at 100%, geriatric care clinic, lifestyle clinic, and a mobile care team. In telephone counseling and primary care triage, nurses handle the initial care smoothly with support from physicians, physiotherapist, and nursing assistants. There is an interpreter and service attendant in the waiting room.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a registered nurse/district nurse, you will work with telephone counseling, care of acute patients, dressing changes, medical administration, and clinic work. You will also work with triage. Of course, you will receive in-house training based on your existing competence and areas of interest, all to best meet patient needs.
With us, you will be part of a great team of registered nurses and district nurses, where we are approximately fifteen colleagues who collaborate and exchange experiences. We strive for a team-oriented approach and continue our improvement work to best serve our patients - do you want to join us?
Working hours are daytime, Monday to Friday. Evening and weekend shifts may occur.
QUALIFICATIONS
The position requires that you are a licensed registered nurse or further educated district nurse with authorization to practice within Swedish healthcare. Swedish language proficiency at a minimum level C1 according to the Council of Europe scale is a requirement. Since travel is required in the position, a valid B driver's license is a requirement.
It is advantageous to have previous experience working as a diabetes nurse and/or from work within primary care.
