About the position In your role as a treatment nurse, you are responsible for patient care and administration of cytotoxic treatment for the patient. The work is largely medico-technical, but an important part of the work also consists of making assessments of the patient's symptoms/side effects before treatment. The work is primarily independent, but we appreciate good collaboration skills as we are a team on the unit and maintain close cooperation with the outpatient clinics regarding our patients. Collaboration also occurs with physicians, contact nurses, research nurses, and advanced home health care. We primarily treat patients with GI tumors, but as we expand, we will treat additional tumor groups within Theme Cancer. We work with well-established medications and as cancer research progresses, treatment methods also develop.
