About the Operation The vaccination and testing operation has an overarching regional mandate that handles all vaccinations within the region, such as major campaigns for influenza, COVID-19, medical vaccinations, and travel-related vaccinations. In addition to the vaccination mandate, we work regionally with asylum health and conduct health examinations for newly arrived adults and children. We also support the region by following up and managing any follow-up testing and vaccinations where personnel and students within the region and municipality have experienced a needle stick or cut injury. In addition to regular assignments, we may receive shorter or longer assignments from both primary care and somatic care, which means that the operation and its employees need to be flexible and take on challenges with short notice and in some cases make quick decisions. We are an operation with a stable work group distributed across the entire region, and during the major vaccination campaigns, we have a large number of hourly temporary staff. We apply flexible working hours and normally work Monday to Friday during daytime. We are now looking for a nurse to join our team! The position is a permanent employment, full-time, with start date by mutual agreement. Duties As a nurse in vaccination and testing, you have great personal responsibility and need to be flexible in your work. You work closely with nursing managers, nursing assistants, doctors, receptionists, and administrators. The role offers good development opportunities, including responsibility for your own clinic and planning of vaccination work and asylum health. The position involves you, together with a colleague, planning and working within the southern primary care area, which includes Härnösand, Timrå, Sundsvall, and Ånge. The operation has permanent units in Härnösand, Sundsvall, and Ånge and conducts activities at, for example, health centers and community centers to ensure good community service. The duties include, among other things: Vaccination Asylum health consultations Planning of vaccination work Introduction of temporary staff Collaboration with regional and municipal actors Planned and sometimes unplanned travel within the region. Introduction takes place based on experience and needs.
