Division Nära and VO Psychiatry has initiated a transition to Nära Vård (Nearby Care), where we are moving care into patients' homes close to where they live. The clinic is currently establishing a specialist psychiatric nursing team, SPOT. Do you want to be part of this journey and help develop the future of psychiatry? We are now seeking new team members—would you like to be one of us? We welcome your application today. Who We Are Looking For We are seeking a licensed registered nurse with work experience. You have good knowledge of common Office programs, speak Swedish fluently in both speech and writing, and hold a valid B-class driver's license. It is advantageous if you are a specialist nurse in psychiatry, have experience working in psychiatric care and treatment, or have knowledge of medical record documentation. Additional language skills are also considered an asset. We place great emphasis on personal qualities. As a person, you are stable, empathetic, and independent. You value and recognize the benefits of collaboration with others. What You Will Work With As a nurse in SPOT, you work closely with patients in their daily lives and help create safe, flexible, and individually tailored psychiatric care. The work often takes place in the patient's home environment and involves providing enhanced support to patients who need more interventions than standard outpatient care can offer, but for whom home-based care may be a better alternative to inpatient care. The work is varied and independent, combining psychiatric nursing interventions, clinical assessments, and collaboration with other care providers. As a nurse, you follow the patient's condition over time and contribute to planning, implementing, and following up on care measures together with other professionals on the team. Your work will include, for example: - Conducting psychiatric nursing assessments and monitoring patients' condition over time - Recognizing changes in patients' mental health and, when necessary, initiating contact with physicians or other professionals - Providing supportive and structured conversations and support in managing anxiety, crisis, and difficult life situations - Conducting behavioral observations and follow-ups in the patient's home environment - Maintaining telephone contact and ongoing follow-up with patients - Following up with patients after discharge from psychiatric inpatient care - Providing support to patients on leave from inpatient care - Participating in resource teams for patients with more complex issues - Collaborating with other psychiatric services, municipal activities, and other care providers SPOT works on behalf of physicians in both psychiatric inpatient and outpatient care and serves as an important link between different parts of psychiatry. What We Offer You - Continuous training and educational opportunities - Access to supervision - Development and career opportunities where you can help create the future of health and care - Health-promoting workplaces with access to wellness activities and wellness benefits - Link to our benefits: https://www.norrbotten.se/sv/jobba-hos-oss/anstallningsvillkor-och-utveckling/ Job Information We offer a permanent full-time position with day, evening, and weekend shifts.
