We are now seeking a registered nurse for Sollentuna Psychiatric Clinic, Psychiatry Northwest. Sollentuna Psychiatric Clinic serves all individuals over 18 years of age, registered as residents in Stockholm County who need specialist-level psychiatric care. The clinic is part of Psychiatry Northwest, a university clinic in the northwestern part of Stockholm County's healthcare region (SLSO) with approximately 550 dedicated employees. We primarily help patients with depression, anxiety disorders, personality disorders, and neuropsychiatric (NP) functional impairments. Our team includes registered nurses, psychologists, social workers/REKO coordinators, psychotherapists, medical secretaries, and physicians. Job Responsibilities A large part of the work tasks in outpatient care for a registered nurse involves supportive and follow-up conversations, evaluating the effectiveness of pharmacological treatment, and staffing our ADHD clinic together with nursing colleagues and physicians. You will also receive new patient visits from individuals seeking our services. Many of our patients have ADHD, and as a registered nurse you will meet these patients for medication follow-up and treatment effectiveness evaluation. We therefore appreciate your interest in this patient group. Qualifications You must be a licensed registered nurse. Previous experience in psychiatric care is considered a merit but not required. We are seeking someone with an interest in psychiatric care and the ability to learn from experienced colleagues. We look for someone who is flexible in how you prioritize, plan, and perform your work tasks and can quickly adapt to changing circumstances. You have a well-developed ability to meet people with varying levels of wellbeing. You enjoy working independently and structuring your workday. We expect competent clinical judgment, a professional approach, and teamwork ability. We appreciate if you are innovative with an interest in development and improvement. Personal suitability carries significant weight. Terms of Employment This is a permanent position with a start date by agreement. Full-time, 40 hours per week, working Monday-Friday 08:00-16:30. For patient-facing work within Stockholm County's healthcare region: - Background checks will be conducted prior to employment decision according to SLSO's comprehensive guidelines for background checks at hiring. - Employees who will have patient contact must undergo a new employee health examination according to current directives, which is conducted through occupational health services before employment. - Swedish professional licensure is required, along with good knowledge of the Swedish language at level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
