The unit has 14 care beds and provides 24-hour forensic psychiatric care. Here you encounter varied and developmentally rewarding work where each patient has individual needs and where care is characterized by structure, continuity, and a long-term perspective. You actively collaborate with patients and their families as well as with care partners and authorities, such as the Swedish Prison and Probation Service and the Police. The position also includes contributing to the ongoing development of the operation. DUTIES As a nurse with us, you have a clear leadership role and overall responsibility for patient care. You daily distribute work tasks among nurses and nursing assistants and ensure that care work is carried out in a structured and patient-safe manner. You have active participation in daily psychiatric care and routines and you document in the Melior journal system. In your role as a nurse, you are an important part of the operation and have a central role in psychiatric care. You work closely with patients and together with several different professions, which gives you the opportunity to use the full breadth of your nursing expertise. The work is engaging and varied and you become part of a multidisciplinary team consisting of nurses, care assistants, doctors, psychologists, occupational therapists, counselors, and medical secretaries, where teamwork and a holistic perspective are central. We also work closely with social services and other psychiatry in patients' networks to create the best possible conditions for care and rehabilitation. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse with authorization to practice within Swedish healthcare. You have Swedish language skills corresponding to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's level scale. It is advantageous if you: - have experience working in psychiatry and/or forensic psychiatry - are confident in somatic tasks, as the nursing role encompasses broad medical responsibility - have experience with the Melior journal system - are accustomed to working independently - have a valid category B driver's license. As a person, you are structured, responsive, and helpful and always put the patient's needs in focus. You are confident in your professional role, work carefully, and see solutions instead of obstacles.
