We are seeking two nurses for our psychiatric emergency department at Northern Stockholm Psychiatry, NSP. We are located in the St. Göran Hospital area and are the only psychiatric emergency department in Stockholm County. Our mission is to provide highly specialized psychiatric care for all of Stockholm County. We provide emergency care 24/7. The department handles approximately 21,000 visits per year. Responsibilities As a nurse in the psychiatric emergency department, you will be a team leader responsible for patient conversations, triage according to Psyk RETTS, contact with family members, medication management, and documentation in TakeCare. The role also includes collaboration with relevant professionals in the emergency department, neighboring care units, and other stakeholders such as police, ambulance services, the correctional service, the migration agency, and other healthcare providers. Psychiatric care at NSP is continuously developing, and we constantly strive for modern and innovative working methods. Therefore, participation in the department's quality and development work is a given for our employees. Qualifications Licensed nurse. We would appreciate if you have experience in psychiatry. Ability to lead, collaborate, prioritize, and be flexible with the ability to quickly adjust work pace are important qualities for success in this role. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. Terms Position: 50% night and 50% day, evening, and weekend shifts. Individual schedule. For patient-facing work within Stockholm County Healthcare Area: - background checks are conducted before employment decisions according to SLSO's general guidelines for background checks in employment. - employees who will have patient contact must undergo a new hire medical examination according to current directives, which is conducted through occupational health services before employment. - in addition to Swedish professional license, good knowledge of the Swedish language corresponding to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) is required.
