The position is placed within the Care and Social Services Administration, one of eight administrations in Linköping Municipality. Welcome to us! Your Tasks Would you like a varied assignment where you can use your expertise across multiple different short-term care units? As a nurse in our pool, you support the operations where the need is greatest and meet different patients and work teams. As a pool nurse, you make independent medical assessments, plan interventions, and follow up on patients' health status. Our patients often have complex care needs and their condition can change rapidly. Your assignment includes, among other things: make medical assessments and initiate interventions plan and follow up on health and medical care services perform and follow up on physician orders guide and delegate to care staff work with medication management document in medical records conduct admissions and discharges receive and follow up on information from hospitals and other care providers participate in rounds together with physicians Your Workplace Three nurses currently work in the pool, and we are now seeking an additional colleague. Linköping Municipality has short-term care beds at Garnisonen care home, Åleryd care home, and Kärna care village. During 2027, all short-term care will be co-located at Åleryd care home. The goal is to create a more cohesive operation with increased continuity, stronger collaboration, and the opportunity to develop specialized expertise in short-term care. As a pool nurse, your workplace varies based on operational needs, for example during absences or higher workload. You therefore need to be comfortable meeting different patients, colleagues, and work methods. At the same time, you have the opportunity to use your expertise across multiple operations and contribute where the need is greatest. You work in close collaboration with nursing colleagues and other professions. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 08:00-16:30. About You We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse and have experience working as a nurse. It is meritorious if you have experience in municipal health and medical care or work in elderly care. Specialist education as a district nurse or other relevant specialist education is also meritorious. You are accustomed to working in documentation and medical record systems and have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. To thrive in the role, you need to be organized, have good judgment, and be able to make independent assessments and prioritizations. You work well with others and communicate clearly with patients, relatives, and colleagues. You are flexible when circumstances change and can, through a clear and pedagogical working approach, lead, guide, and support others. Other Information You apply with e-identification.
