Surgical Department Welcome to Enköping Hospital – great care in a small format! We work with approximately 700 dedicated colleagues in an environment where close collaboration and community are fundamental. We are located in an expanding region with convenient commuting options to Stockholm, Uppsala, and Västerås. If you are considering relocating to live close to your job, the Enköping region has much to offer. The hospital provides acute and planned care for approximately 72,000 residents in Enköping, Håbo, and Södra Heby, and we also serve as a specialist facility for the entire Uppsala region. Here you can make a difference – for patients and for our operations – in a work environment where we constantly develop together. Do you want to be part of our team? You are warmly welcome to Enköping Hospital! Our Operations The Orthopedic Rehabilitation Department operates with a patient-centered and rehabilitative approach. Our starting point is the meeting with the patient. We are now looking for a new colleague who is passionate about teamwork with each patient's unique circumstances and personal goals in focus. We are an inpatient department for patients with orthopedic diagnoses who require additional care and rehabilitation following, for example, trauma, fractures, or joint replacement surgery. Hospital stays typically last between seven and ten days and are adapted to patients' needs. We have twelve patient beds on the unit, divided between two teams with six patients in each team. Teamwork is central to the department, enabling a comprehensive understanding of the patient, individually tailored interventions, and enhanced patient safety. We focus on healthy work schedules and working hours, developmental team rounds, patient-centered care, daily management, and more. We work to streamline discharges and actively collaborate with our colleagues at the rest of the hospital, Academic Hospital, and in the municipalities. Your Assignment As a registered nurse with us, you hold a key role in the team. In addition to the usual nursing responsibilities, you will also: • Conduct motivating conversations with patients. • Participate in patient care and rehabilitation. • Lead morning rounds. • Assess incoming referrals. Coordinate with other professionals at the hospital as needed. Your Qualifications We are looking for a registered nurse. We prioritize candidates with experience working in a hospital setting. You appreciate varied work, want to have a say in and develop our operations, and are an engaged and positive colleague who contributes to a good work environment. If you enjoy working in teams based on a patient-centered approach where the patient is actively involved in their care and rehabilitation, we warmly encourage you to apply. What We Offer We offer a permanent position at 100% (or part-time) with a start date by agreement. The position includes work on days, evenings, and weekends. We provide benefits that make a difference; read about our benefits here (https://regionuppsala.se/formaner/). As a new employee at Enköping Hospital, you will receive a solid and supportive start to your career. Your employment begins with participation in KULE, our comprehensive introduction week for new employees, where we offer an interprofessional program. Here you will meet and collaborate with colleagues from several different professions. For newly graduated nurses, we also offer enhanced introduction with an additional three months. This includes reflective professional mentoring as well as shadowing and coaching from our clinical instructor. You will also participate in practical training at our CTC (Clinical Training Center), a safe and supportive environment to practice and develop your skills. Want to Know More?
