Our Operations
The Orthopedic Rehabilitation Department operates from a person-centered and rehabilitative approach. The meeting with the patient is the starting point. We are now seeking a new colleague who is passionate about teamwork with each patient's unique circumstances and personal goals in focus.
We are an inpatient ward for patients with orthopedic diagnoses who need additional care and rehabilitation following, for example, trauma, fractures, or prosthetic surgery. Hospital stays typically last between seven and ten days and are adjusted based on patient needs. We have twelve beds on the ward divided between two teams, with six patients in each team. Teamwork is central to the ward, which enables a comprehensive view of the patient, individualized interventions, and promotes patient safety.
We focus on healthy work schedules and working hours, developmental team rounds, person-centered care, daily management, and more. We work to streamline discharges and actively collaborate with our colleagues at other hospital departments, Akademiska sjukhuset, and in the municipality.
Your Role
As a nurse with us, you have a key role on the team. In addition to the usual nursing tasks, you will also:
• Have motivating conversations with patients.
• Participate in patient care and rehabilitation.
• Lead morning rounds.
• Assess incoming referrals.
You will coordinate with other professionals at the hospital as needed.
Your Qualifications
We are looking for you if you are a licensed nurse. We prioritize candidates with experience working in a hospital setting. You appreciate varied work, want to be involved in influencing and developing our operations, and are an engaged and positive colleague who contributes to a good work environment. What We Offer

As a new employee at Lasarettet in Enköping, you receive a solid and supportive start to your career. Your employment begins with participation in KULE, our comprehensive introduction week for new employees, where we offer an interprofessional program. You will meet and collaborate with colleagues from several different professions. For newly graduated nurses, we also offer enhanced introduction for an additional three months. This includes reflective professional mentoring as well as shadowing and coaching from our clinical adjunct. You will also participate in practical training at our KTC (Clinical Training Center), a safe and supportive environment for practicing and developing your skills.
