Would you like to work in a setting where orthopedics and geriatrics meet, with the opportunity to follow patients through their entire care journey? At the Geriatric Section, we care for elderly patients who have suffered orthopedic injuries, primarily hip fractures, pelvic fractures, and other injuries requiring both orthopedic and geriatric expertise.
With us, you'll experience varied work where no two days are the same. You'll meet patients with complex care needs and use both your medical expertise and nursing perspective. You'll be an important part of an engaged multidisciplinary team working together to provide patients with the best possible conditions for recovery, mobilization, and a safe return home or continued care. We work in close-knit teams around the patient, where everyone's expertise is valued and professionals support each other in daily work.
We operate around the clock using a three-shift model with:
Day shift
Evening shift
Night shift
To create good balance between work and leisure, we use a wish-based scheduling system where you can influence your working hours.
Weekend duty is included, and you work two out of five weekends.
