Care Unit (VE) Memory Disorders is a specialist clinic offering assessment and treatment of memory disorders as well as suspected dementia conditions/cognitive impairment in both older and younger patients. Our operations are conducted in completely new facilities centrally located at Triangeln in Malmö. We have a well-developed outpatient care with specialist clinic, mobile outpatient teams, and the Memory Health unit. Our operations also include a unit for clinical drug trials.
With us, world-leading research and teaching is conducted with strong clinical relevance, which permeates the entire operation. We work in close collaboration with primary care, municipalities, and other operational areas within Skåne University Hospital.

DUTIES
We are now looking for a driven and engaged nurse for our operations. Here there is plenty of room for new thinking and great opportunities for development!
In your role as a nurse with us, you will work with clinic operations and independent patient visits including cognitive testing, conversations, and assessments. You are an important part of the team around the patient regarding assessment, follow-up, and treatment. You will also work with supportive and advisory conversations with patients, relatives, and other healthcare providers. At the clinic, we are also involved in education and teaching of future colleagues. You and your colleagues work closely with other professions within the care unit.
QUALIFICATIONS
We welcome you who are a licensed nurse with authorization to practice within Swedish healthcare. Swedish language proficiency corresponding to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe scale is a requirement. We would like to see that you have knowledge of memory disorders and dementia conditions. Additionally, it is desirable that you have experience with advisory conversations with patients, relatives, and other healthcare providers.

You find it easy to prioritize between different tasks and can adapt your working methods when circumstances require it. Working with people is something you enjoy and you have a responsive and professional manner. We also value your ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
