Here we care for patients with diagnoses including neurology, infection, and orthopedics. WORK TASKS With us, you work close to patients in an environment where each day brings new challenges and learning opportunities. You become part of a team where we support each other, help across professional boundaries, and have a strong focus on planning, structure, and patient safety. You will have varied work where you and your colleagues are responsible for patient care, treatment, and nursing. You will have good opportunities to develop in your professional role, for example as a mentor for students with support from our clinical educator. We also offer mentor training and a wide range of internal training and web-based learning resources. You will receive individualized orientation of at least four weeks, and if you are new to your role as a nurse, you are also invited to participate in our clinical foundation year. The department also has support in the form of an education nurse who works Monday-Friday. The education nurse's responsibilities include coordinating your orientation, but also supporting you in the daily clinical work on the ward. We work with activity-based scheduling in TimeCare, where you have the opportunity to influence your working hours. You work two out of five weekends. If the operation requires it, one additional weekend per ten weeks may be added. QUALIFICATIONS We welcome you as a registered nurse with authorization to practice within Swedish healthcare. Swedish language skills of at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe scale are required. It is an advantage if you have experience in medical care, neurology, and the Melior medical record system. You have a humble approach, are confident in your professional role, and work well collaboratively. You enjoy working in a team but are also accustomed to taking responsibility and making independent decisions. In a fast-paced operation, it is important that you are flexible and able to adapt to the situation's demands. You have good self-awareness and a genuine interest in internal medicine.
