About the Operation MAVA Cardiac Unit in Örnsköldsvik is part of Primary Care North. The unit focuses on cardiology and acute medical care. Whether you are an experienced nurse or new to the profession, you can contribute to our team. When you start with us, you will receive comprehensive and thorough training. We have a structured mentorship program at the unit for nurses where you are offered personal support and learning from experienced nurses. The unit has a supervising nurse whose main task is to support and guide staff daily in all situations that arise, big and small. We offer newly hired nurses the opportunity to participate in a development year for new nurses where you receive training during the year and meet other new colleagues. There is also an opportunity for competence development in both cardiology and other specialties of the unit, such as telemetry interpretation, training, and more. If you have student loans (CSN), you may also have the opportunity for loan repayment of 2,000 kr over 24 months. We offer individual shift schedules with great flexibility and the possibility of reduced working hours. We have individual salary setting and a competence ladder with financial compensation. These are permanent full-time positions with temporary placement at MAVA Cardiac Unit. Start date by agreement. Responsibilities As a nurse with us, you work in a team with nursing assistants and physicians. You are responsible for: Patient care Monitoring vital parameters Medication management Implementation of prescribed treatment Work tasks vary based on patient needs. The unit treats, for example, patients with ischemic heart disease, arrhythmias, heart failure, and internal medicine patients with conditions such as COPD, diabetes, or acute infections.
