Would you like to work independently with gastroenterology patients in an experienced and dedicated team? We are now seeking a nurse for our Gastroenterology Clinic at the Medical Clinic in Mölndal Description At the Gastroenterology Clinic, we work in a well-functioning team consisting of specialist physicians, nurses, a dietitian, a social worker, and administrative staff. Together we provide our patients with high-quality care with good accessibility and excellent patient relations in focus. The Gastroenterology Clinic is part of the Medical Clinic, which receives patients for new and follow-up visits within gastroenterology, diabetes, internal medicine, and cardiology. We also have an active research program. Our daily work is characterized by a desire for development, expertise, and a good work environment. Responsibilities As a nurse with us, you will have your own clinic visits and will meet patients daily with inflammatory bowel disease and liver disease requiring follow-up, counseling, and treatment. Your responsibilities include, among other things: Medication treatment with biological medicines Follow-up of administered medications Patient education about illness and treatment Counseling via telephone and 1177 Administrative tasks such as coordination and appointment scheduling The clinic is small with several teams, and cooperation between the different teams is necessary. You will therefore also be introduced to the endoscopy team and work part of your time in this team as well. Qualifications We are primarily seeking someone who: is a licensed nurse and has experience within gastroenterology, and preferably has completed training in gastroenterology. If you do not have experience in gastroenterology but feel confident and independent in your nursing role and have an interest in developing within a new specialty area, you are also welcome to apply.
