Would you like to work independently with gastroenterology patients in an experienced and committed team? We are now seeking a nurse for our Gastroenterology and Intestinal Outpatient Clinic at the Medical Outpatient Department in Mölndal Description At the Gastroenterology and Intestinal Outpatient Clinic, we work in a well-functioning team consisting of specialist physicians, nurses, a dietitian, a social worker, and administrative staff. Together we offer our patients high-quality care with good accessibility and excellent patient interaction as our focus. The Gastroenterology and Intestinal Outpatient Clinic is part of the Medical Outpatient Department, which receives patients for new visits and follow-ups in gastroenterology, diabetes, internal medicine, and cardiology. We also have active research activities. Our daily work is characterized by a drive for development, expertise, and a good work environment. Responsibilities As a nurse with us, you will have your own outpatient clinic visits and meet patients daily with inflammatory bowel disease and liver disease who need follow-up, counseling, and treatment. Your responsibilities include, among other things: Medication treatments with biologic drugs Monitoring of prescribed medications Patient education about disease and treatment Counseling via phone and 1177 Administrative tasks such as coordination and appointment scheduling The clinic is small with several teams, and collaboration between the different teams is necessary. You will therefore also be introduced to the endoscopy team and work part of your time with this team as well. Qualifications We are primarily looking for you if you: are a licensed nurse with experience in gastroenterology and ideally have completed training in gastroenterology. If you don't have experience in gastroenterology but feel confident and independent in your nursing role and have an interest in developing within a new specialist area, you are also welcome to apply.
