WELCOME to Liljeholmen University Primary Care Center - centrally located at Liljeholmen Square with excellent transportation connections - subway, buses, and light rail. As a University Primary Care Center, we supervise a number of students from various professions, and employees are given great opportunities to engage in student mentoring, develop a specialized area, and/or work on various research projects within primary care. We invest in skills development and employees are given opportunities to participate in various training courses and conferences relevant to the center's mission and needs. You also have the opportunity to participate in research studies. We are now looking for someone who wants to work at our clinic. You will start with general nursing tasks with the opportunity to develop within a specialist area. We currently have several nurse/district nurse-led clinics, including diabetes, asthma/COPD/allergies, and triage. At our clinics, we work in an interprofessional and patient-centered manner. We offer a safe workplace where our employees are given significant influence over our work. We have regular training sessions for clinic staff and close collaboration with other professional categories at the primary care center. You should have experience with primary care operations. We will place great emphasis on personal suitability. Employment Type The position is a fixed-term full-time employment for one year from the start date. For patient-facing work within the Stockholm Region Health Care District: - background checks are conducted before employment decisions according to SLSO's overarching instructions for background checks at employment. - employees who will have patient contact must undergo an onboarding health examination, according to current directives, which is conducted through occupational health services before employment. - Swedish professional licensure is required, along with good knowledge of Swedish at level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR).
