Your primary placement is currently at Lejonbacken, a special residential facility with a total of 70 beds. The operations consist of three short-term and respite care units as well as four care and residential units. Duties As a nurse, you are responsible for both specialized and general nursing care with the patient's individual needs at the center. You plan, implement, and follow up on health and medical interventions, and prioritize work together with your colleagues based on the current needs of the operations. The work is varied and may involve duties across several of Lejonbacken's units. You have a central role in the team and work closely with other nurses, care staff, and other professionals. The role also includes contact and cooperation with family members. With your medical expertise, you contribute to security, continuity, and high quality of care. You mentor and support colleagues and students, and share your knowledge in daily work. The role involves both teamwork and independent responsibility. You therefore need to feel confident assessing situations, making decisions, and structuring your work. Since management or supervision is not always in your immediate vicinity, you need to be able to take responsibility for ongoing work. At the same time, you have support from your manager and colleagues, both on-site and remotely. Together, we work to create a safe, meaningful, and dignified daily life for patients at Lejonbacken. You will receive individualized orientation with a mentor and will be met with trust-based leadership where you receive both confidence and support in your daily work. As an employee with us, you also receive wellness hours and a wellness allowance. Qualifications We are seeking someone who is a registered nurse. Experience in municipal health and medical care is meritorious. A valid driver's license, category B, is required. It is also meritorious if you have mentor training or relevant further education, for example in district care, elderly care, or psychiatry. We would appreciate language skills in Finnish and/or one of the Sami varieties, as Örnsköldsviks Municipality is part of both the Finnish and Sami administrative areas.
