Specialist Addiction Care Hälsingland consists of a LARO clinic and four addiction treatment clinics. We work closely with our department and our emergency clinic located in Hudiksvall. We want to strengthen our operations and are now seeking a licensed nurse for the specialist addiction care LARO clinic in Hudiksvall. Together we welcome people who need help managing opioid dependence through medication-assisted rehabilitation and treatment. 2 position(s). WORK DUTIES As a nurse with us, you will work independently, broadly, and variably with different tasks. Your primary placement will be at our LARO clinic where you work in a team consisting of doctors, nurses, a counselor, a treatment educator, and medical secretaries. The work takes place in collaboration with all professional categories within addiction care and other public services. In the role as a general nurse, you will also work approximately 20 percent in 24-hour care, which may include both the ward and the emergency clinic. As a specialist nurse in psychiatry, no rotation is required. As a nurse with us, you will work with, among other things: • medication-assisted treatment and medication management • injection treatment, blood tests, and drug screening • withdrawal assessment and mapping of substance use disorder • suicide prevention and supportive and motivating conversations • psychoeducation for patients and relatives • telephone counseling, medication follow-up, and internal/external collaboration • supervision of students and new employees. The role requires that you have the ability to collaborate well with patients, their relatives, colleagues, and partners. You are confident in making independent assessments and take responsibility for driving the work forward, even when it means prioritizing and quickly shifting focus to meet today's needs. With a calm and controlled approach, you handle challenging situations and have an easy time creating a safe and respectful reception. You listen to both patients and colleagues, are responsive and communicative, and value constructive dialogue and feedback to strengthen collaboration. You have an interest in developing care and nursing with a focus on psychiatry and addiction care. In your role as a nurse, you should: • be a licensed nurse • have a B-class driver's license. For this position, it is meritorious if you are a specialist nurse in psychiatry. It is also meritorious if you have previous experience as a nurse in psychiatric care or addiction care.
