Within the Social Care Administration, approximately 1,200 engaged employees work to provide support and care to those in need in our municipality. Work takes place within elderly care, home care, services for people with disabilities, and social psychiatry, as well as individual and family care.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
This is a permanent full-time position (100%) involving work during evenings and nights throughout the municipality, in both ordinary housing and special accommodations. During nights, two nurses always work together to ensure safe, secure, and high-quality care for our patients.
As an evening and night nurse, you are responsible for providing qualified medical care and support. Your work includes both planned and acute medical assessments, treatments, and follow-up of care interventions, including palliative care at the end of life.
You document according to current procedures and provide important support to patients, relatives, and care staff. The role involves significant personal responsibility and requires that you feel confident making independent decisions, while also maintaining close collaboration with colleagues and other professionals to create good and cohesive care.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for you who:
• are a licensed nurse with work experience in the profession,
• have a B driving license,
• have good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both verbally and in writing
You are confident in your professional role and have the ability to make well-founded decisions, even in situations requiring quick assessments. You are flexible and adapt to patients' needs, always with the patient's best interests in focus.
It is advantageous if you have experience in home healthcare.
As a person, you are responsible, engaged, and communicative. You have good interpersonal skills, enjoy working both independently and with others, and contribute to a work environment characterized by collaboration and quality. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Salary form: Monthly salary.
Employment type: Permanent position.
Duration: Permanent, start date: 2026-10-01 or as soon as possible or by agreement.
Working hours: Shift work. Evening and night shifts. On-call service four weekends per ten weeks.
