Corporate Procurement and Financial Management Staff consists of four units that conduct public procurement for a total of approximately seven billion kronor per year. It is to the Unit "Lab, Medical Technology and Diagnostics" that we are now seeking a nurse/materials consultant. RESPONSIBILITIES This role offers a unique opportunity to combine healthcare expertise with procurement and contracting. As a nurse, you have valuable knowledge of healthcare needs and patient safety. In your role as a materials consultant, you have the opportunity to contribute your clinical experience and help ensure good and safe care for many patients. You will be an important link between Corporate Procurement and Financial Management Staff, healthcare operations, and industry. Together with procurement specialists and healthcare experts, you will conduct qualified procurements and ensure that the right products are available for the operations. In this role you will, among other things: • Work with healthcare experts to identify operational needs, analyze the market, and develop requirements that ensure the right products are procured. • Plan, conduct, and compile product tests and evaluations of medical technology products together with expert groups to ensure quality, function, and patient safety. • Monitor developments in healthcare, medical technology, legislation, and standards to ensure that procured products meet future requirements. • Support operations by providing information, training, and advice on procured products. • Follow up on the use of assortments and contribute to improvements that create both quality and cost benefits. • Handle delivery deviations, complaints, and introduction of new products during the contract period. You will receive a mentor, a structured introduction program, and training in public procurement. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for a licensed nurse with authorization to practice within Swedish healthcare. Swedish language proficiency at least corresponding to level C1 according to the Council of Europe scale is required. We would like to see that you are specialist trained in, for example, surgery or intensive care. If you have participated in procurement or have other experience with procurement work, that is an advantage but not a requirement. Experience with Microsoft Office is also considered an advantage. In your professional role, you are structured, goal-focused, a good listener, and have a strong ability to maintain and develop relationships with clients, various market actors, and other stakeholders. As a person, you are driven with experience working independently while valuing good cooperation with your colleagues. You are an effective problem solver who enjoys developing and contributing to your colleagues' development.
