Surgery Clinic at Nyköping Hospital About Us The Department of Surgery and Urology at Nyköping Hospital currently consists of two different clinics and two departments. These include clinics for surgery and endoscopy, a surgical care unit, and a day surgery department. The surgery clinic encompasses several sections: surgery, urology, stoma care, and bariatric surgery. The clinic has approximately 140 employees representing multiple professions. The clinic leadership consists of a department manager, five unit managers, an assistant unit manager, a business developer, and a clinic administrator. The surgery clinic encompasses several different areas where nurses fulfill various roles, such as: urology nurse, surgical nurse, stoma care nurse, contact nurse in one of our cancer sections, surgery scheduler, bariatric surgery nurse, etc. Your Responsibilities We are seeking a nurse for our clinic who wants to develop in a specialized care role. We are looking for someone who is energetic, cheerful, and loves new challenges! You work well with others since we operate in teams with multiple professions. You will receive support from experienced colleagues and participate in a structured onboarding program. Your work will include assisting with outpatient surgical procedures and at various physician clinics, as well as the opportunity to conduct your own patient consultations. Telephone consultation is also part of the nurse's responsibilities.
