About the position On Infectious Diseases Unit 4 (I64), the work and pace vary as we care for patients with complicated infectious diseases such as sepsis, severe respiratory infections, and infections of the central nervous system, skeleton, skin, and soft tissues. We have a strong sense of unity on the unit and place great emphasis on a good work environment and high patient safety. We help and support each other and aim to provide the best care for our patients. Operational development is an important part of our short-term and long-term strategic work, and we actively work with professional development and care development. The work tasks are varied and include, for example, medication management, handling of central lines and drainage, arterial and venous blood sampling, and handling of medical equipment such as monitoring and Optiflow/High-flow oxygen treatment. The position involves work scheduled for day, evening, and night shifts according to Region Stockholm's agreement for nurses in 24/7 operations.
