We are a department with 14 patient beds and approximately 30 employees who, together with the clinic, provide internal medicine care around the clock to the population in the western part of the region. Our common focus is to provide acute care with good patient safety and excellent patient treatment. On the Cardiac Medicine ward, we work in teams closely with the patient at the center. Job Description With us you will meet patients from all internal medicine areas in inpatient care, but especially you will meet the patient who has acutely developed or deteriorated cardiac disease. We work in teams together with the patient, where our goal is to meet the patient's needs in the acute phase and plan ahead for continued care needs. With us, patient flow is often fast with short hospital stays. Your responsibility as a nurse includes everything from patient care, medication administration, preparation for examinations, to monitoring cardiac monitoring. The work also involves handling medical-technical equipment such as manual defibrillator, mobile and fixed cardiac monitoring. The department performs electrical conversions for both outpatient and inpatient patients. We are also responsible for the hospital's cardiac arrest alarm. About You Both newly educated nurses and experienced nurses are welcome to apply with us. Since you work in constant dialogue with patients and colleagues, it is a requirement that you have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written. You need to be a team player because we work together in teams. In stressful situations, you should be able to maintain a calm and stable demeanor, both for the patient's benefit and for smooth collaboration. You should enjoy the acute flow where no day is like the other. We want you, like us, to have good patient treatment, a positive attitude, and to focus on the patient's best interest.
