The Medical Operations Area at Central Hospital in Kristianstad (CSK) is a large, cohesive operation that includes both planned and acute care. Within the operations area, we have units in hematology, cardiology, pulmonology, nephrology, gastroenterology, neurology/stroke, endocrinology, and rheumatology. The Cardiac Intensive Care Unit and coronary angiography are part of the cardiology section within the Medical Operations Area at CSK.
When it's acute, everyone needs to know what to do. We need someone who thrives in a high-pressure environment and who can keep calm even in acute situations. Since we are a smaller unit and often work closely between professions, we function like a well-oiled machine when things get serious. We care for patients who need a higher level of monitoring, which means we have fewer patients but closer contact and greater presence with each individual than many other operations. In our work, we also make extensive use of medical technical equipment, which I find very developmental, says Rassmus, who is a nurse at the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

In your role as a nurse with us, you will have varied tasks with a focus on specialized medicine within cardiology. The tasks include caring for critically ill patients, rhythm and ECG interpretation, and operation of medical technical equipment.
It is important to us that you feel secure in your role from the start. When you join us, we will therefore draw up a plan together for your individual training based on your needs and previous experience. To promote competence development, we offer both internal and external training in specific work procedures. You also have the opportunity to undertake other training related to your interests and the operation's needs.

QUALIFICATIONS
We welcome you as a registered nurse with authorization to practice in Swedish healthcare. In addition, you have Swedish language skills at least corresponding to level C1 according to the Council of Europe scale. Experience in cardiology, medical technology, and acute care is a merit but not a requirement.
We are looking for you who puts the patient's needs at the center and who is structured, flexible, and independent. Furthermore, you can take own initiatives, are thorough, driven, and can organize and prioritize work tasks. It is important that you have good ability to collaborate with others and that you have a positive attitude toward work. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
