Here we work based on person-centered care (PCC), where we continuously focus on the patient's need for care, support, and information. WORK DUTIES In your work as a nurse, you are responsible for basic and specific care. You work close to patients and are responsible for patients where medical treatment with associated examinations takes place in close cooperation with multiple professional categories such as nursing assistants, doctors, rehabilitation teams, coordinators, and contact responsible persons toward municipal/primary care. The department is equipped with monitoring systems for continuous registration of arrhythmia and ischemia. In your work, you deepen your knowledge of the heart's and lungs' circulation and how it affects patients. We care for patients with coronary artery disease, heart failure and arrhythmia, as well as patients with lung disease who may need NIV and Optiflow. Also, patients in need of continuous blood pressure measurement (arterial pressure measurement) and requiring vasopressor/inotropic treatment are present in the department. The care we provide is, among other things, PM-driven so we can initiate treatments independently directly after contact with a doctor. We are now in the startup phase of opening a follow-up clinic for our heart patients who have recently been discharged from inpatient care. The patients who come here will largely be followed up by a nurse who performs predetermined prescriptions and/or treatments. The work at the follow-up clinic is independent, but you always have a cardiologist to consult if needed. You have good opportunities to develop in Trelleborg based on your own expertise. It is also expected that you as a nurse participate in our scheduled training days that we have for continuous competence development of the group. It is important to us that you as an employee feel safe and stability while constantly receiving stimulation and development in your workplace. As a nurse with us, you will be assigned a mentor and will have regular reflection time with mentors and other new colleagues within our operational area. The position is a permanent employment with day and evening work, but there may also be opportunities for some night shifts. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse with authorization to practice within Swedish healthcare. Language skills in Swedish corresponding to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe scale are a requirement. We are looking for you who wants to drive the unit forward together with team leaders, colleagues, and your immediate manager. You adapt easily to changed circumstances and have the ability to handle and prioritize when the pace is high. As a person, we want you to take responsibility and make your own decisions based on science and proven experience. You are engaged with the patient, flexible in your working style, and possess good communicative skills.
