Description We are seeking new colleagues for home care services in Karlstad as both patient-responsible nurses and evening shift nurses. As a patient-responsible nurse (PAS) in home care, you will have a varied, educational, and exciting job where you can work both independently and as part of a team. Our care recipients are Karlstad residents from seven years and up. We offer an introduction tailored to your needs as a new employee, with guidance from your team colleagues and training from our mentors. Job Responsibilities As a patient-responsible nurse (PAS), you will have primary responsibility for the overall planning of the care recipient's medical health and care services. You will make home visits and assess what measures should be implemented, as well as document these. You are also responsible for supervising, delegating, and training care personnel in health and care tasks. As a nurse in municipal care, you collaborate with various professional categories and agencies involved in the care recipient's care. You also participate in improvement and development work within the team and organization. Qualifications You are a licensed nurse. Training in geriatrics is meriting, as is experience in geriatric care and/or work within municipal health and care services. You need a B driver's license to reach our clients and should also be able to cycle. The work requires professional conduct and good communication according to our values when interacting with our care recipients, relatives, and partners. As a person, you are therefore collaborative, flexible, able to work independently, and have good communication and teamwork skills.
