The Endocrinology department has extensive outpatient and day care services in both Malmö and Lund, as well as inpatient beds in Malmö. Endocrinology and diabetology is one of Skåne University Hospital's profile areas. The department has well-developed multidisciplinary collaboration with other specialties such as surgery, oncology, nephrology, ophthalmology, pathology, neurosurgery, pediatrics, orthopedics, and prosthetics, among others. At the endocrinology clinics in Lund and Malmö, patients with hormonal imbalances affecting the pituitary gland, thyroid, adrenal glands, and parathyroid glands are evaluated and treated, as well as patients on insulin therapy for diabetes. Endocrinology provides world-class diabetes foot wound care where development and research are integrated into daily work. 1 position(s). JOB RESPONSIBILITIES You will be part of our wonderful team consisting of two foot therapists/nurses and two registered nurses. In this role, you will have your own clinic work, and also play a significant role in the physician-led new patient and follow-up clinics. Daily work consists of simple to advanced diabetic foot wounds, wound care, and more. Your responsibilities also include telephone consultations and administrative tasks. QUALIFICATIONS We welcome you as a licensed nurse with authorization to practice within Swedish healthcare. Swedish language proficiency at least equivalent to level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale is required. It is an advantage if you have experience with systems such as Melior and Pasis. To succeed and thrive in this role, you must be able to work independently, have good collaboration and organizational skills, and be flexible. You are confident in your professional role, accustomed to making your own assessments, and capable of making independent decisions.
