DUTIES We are now welcoming a nurse to our team! In intermediate care, we work from a family perspective and tailor treatment based on the patient's and family's needs. Based on these needs, we can offer both individual contacts and family work. The work environment is highly valued and we foster good camaraderie. You work together with other professional categories on your cases. As a nurse with us, you work both individually and with other staff members on the unit. Together you collaborate and plan interventions to provide our patients with the best possible care. Work duties include, among other things, medication follow-ups, assessment, investigation, psychoeducation and individually tailored treatments for children, adolescents and their relatives. There are often major psychosocial stresses in the family. An important part of the work is to collaborate around the patient both within Bup and with other actors such as schools, social services and rehabilitation services. As a nurse with us, you make independent assessments of patients who need medical follow-up in close collaboration with physicians and other colleagues. Our next initiative is to implement the FACT model and we would very much like you to be part of this. Intermediate care is a mobile operation, which means that work takes place both at the clinic, in children's homes and their local environments. Since intermediate care works with patients with complex child psychiatric issues and eating disorders, there are different treatment models. Work as a nurse is focused on child psychiatric treatment with medical expertise. Furthermore, it is challenging, stimulating and varied, and there is an opportunity to work creatively with children and young people across all child psychiatry diagnoses. We would very much like and strive to meet your interest in further education for personal development in your work and offer, in addition to mentorship during the introduction phase, ongoing supervision. Your working hours are scheduled for daytime from 08:00 to 16:30. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse with authorization to practice in Swedish healthcare. We would very much like you to have specialist training in psychiatry or child and adolescent care. Swedish language skills at least corresponding to level C1 according to the Council of Europe's level scale is a requirement. Since travel occurs in the role, you need to have a valid category B driver's license. Experience with child psychiatry, eating disorders and/or family work with a psychosocial perspective is a merit, as is other relevant and complementary competencies such as therapist training, CBT or similar. You, as an applicant, have the patient in focus, a salutogenic approach with good communication and collaboration skills. Work in intermediate care requires that you can think and work flexibly and handle emotionally stressful situations. You are also responsible and interested in working creatively with patients with complicated psychiatric problems and complex life and family situations. As a person, you are stable, take initiative and enjoy working both individually and in a team. You also have good ability to structure and organize your work.
