We are looking for a positive, driven, and committed nurse with a strong interest in oncology care who wants stimulating and varied work. The Oncology Clinic provides comprehensive oncology care and consists of an inpatient ward, care unit 85, which has 22 beds. Here cancer patients are treated with cytostatic drugs, radiation therapy, brachytherapy, hormones, and antibodies for curative, adjuvant, and palliative purposes. Work on the care unit is conducted in care teams with great emphasis on continuity in the patient-staff relationship. Patients often have a broad spectrum of problems and significant both care and medical needs, which require broad competence. The clinic has an emergency intake for patients undergoing treatment at our clinic. There is also an outpatient clinic with surgical brachytherapy unit and a radiation therapy department as well as a medical treatment unit. You will be offered an introduction based on your needs and very good collegial support. In Region Örebro County, we offer you as a nurse a permanent employment directly. At the beginning of your employment as a new nurse, you will also have the opportunity to participate in a comprehensive introductory program lasting one year, which gives you good prerequisites for starting your work and meeting new nursing colleagues.
