About the Position As a registered nurse with us, you work in a team with employees from different professional categories to meet each patient's unique needs. You also have an important leadership function where you ensure that the patient's care is continuously moving forward. As a work leader and role model on the department, you have your own patient responsibility. Your tasks also include providing support to relatives, taking samples, distributing medication, and documenting in the Take Care medical record system. Our Expectations of You We are looking for you who are a licensed registered nurse and have an interest in psychiatric inpatient care. Previous experience in psychiatric care and/or specialist training in psychiatry is a merit. Good knowledge of Swedish, equivalent to at least C1 level, is a requirement. Work on the department is varied and eventful, which means you need to be able to handle different situations with an open and solution-oriented mindset. You enjoy collaborating in a team where different professional categories meet, and you are happy to share your experience and knowledge. At the same time, you always put the patient's needs at the center. Your ability to see possibilities and act with consideration in each unique situation is of great importance to us. We place great emphasis on your experience and personal suitability. About Us Our inpatient care consists of two departments, Department 34 and 36, with 16 care beds each. We care for patients according to HSL and LPT. Department 34 also has a separate operation with two recovery beds where we care for patients admitted according to LOB. On the departments, registered nurses, assistant nurses, social workers, and doctors work together. We accept patients from all diagnostic groups, which makes the work varied and very interesting. Psychiatry Center Södertälje is a specialist psychiatric clinic within Stockholm County Healthcare (SLSO). The clinic has 3 outpatient units and two inpatient departments. With our approximately 200 employees, we are a small clinic where you have the opportunity to influence and develop our operations. Employment Terms Permanent employment, full-time. Trial employment may be applied. Work hours: Varying hours with day, evening, and light weekend shifts. According to schedule, 38.15 h/week. We warmly welcome your application! For patient-facing work within Stockholm County Healthcare (SLSO): - a background check will be conducted before an employment decision according to SLSO's overarching instructions for background checks at employment. - employees who will have patient contact must undergo a new employee medical examination, according to current directives, which takes place through occupational health services before employment. - in addition to Swedish professional credentials, good knowledge of the Swedish language equivalent to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) is required.
