About the Swedish Prison and Probation Service The Swedish Prison and Probation Service is growing – we are building new facilities, renovating, and expanding, and we are now seeking more employees. Job Description The Swedish Prison and Probation Service operates certain open healthcare services, meaning all correctional facilities and remand prisons have healthcare clinics where inmates can seek care. At these clinics, in addition to nurses, there are general practitioners and psychiatrists. As a nurse, you have your own clinic for assessing minor ailments, and you also assess which patients should see a doctor. This means you work with both somatic and psychiatric healthcare for inmates, assist at doctor's clinics, and administer medications, primarily through dose dispensing. Documentation is recorded in PMO patient medical records. You may also work at Gruvberget facility. Working hours are during daytime. Qualifications We are looking for someone who is confident, stable, and has self-awareness. You work well with others and have well-founded and clear values. In stressful situations, you remain calm, stable, and composed. You have strong integrity and the ability to make sound judgments and prioritizations.
