At Lindesberg Emergency Department, we have supervising nurses whose task is to support the department's nurses in their profession. Great emphasis is placed on ensuring a smooth introduction for new colleagues. As a newly hired nurse, you will receive extra support from the department's supervising nurses during your first year. Job Responsibilities You will perform the usual duties of a nurse with a focus on emergency care. You will meet patients and families of all ages with different illnesses and/or injuries. You work in a team with other nurses, nursing assistants, and physicians. There is always a charge nurse—an experienced nurse with management responsibility—on each shift. We follow our patients from arrival to discharge, which contributes to increased patient safety. Qualifications We are looking for a licensed nurse. You should adapt easily to changing circumstances and varying work pace as the emergency department requires. Personal qualities are emphasized.
