About the Operation We need to expand our team to improve and secure the work environment and reduce workload at the Emergency Department at Mora Hospital! We are therefore seeking licensed nurses who are prepared for varying tasks and continuous pace changes. Our goal is for patients to feel safe, receive proper care and treatment, and feel helped after their visit with us. Mora Hospital is an acute care hospital with approximately 1,000 employees. The largest clinics at the hospital are, in addition to the emergency department, the Medical Clinic, OR/AN/ICU, Surgery, and Orthopedic Clinic. The Emergency Department in Mora has approximately 60 staff members, nurses and nurse assistants. The Emergency Department is also staffed by physicians from the Medical Clinic, Orthopedic and Surgery Clinics. We offer onboarding and continuous training so you feel secure and develop in your role. As a nurse at our workplace, you will have the opportunity to gain broad expertise in acute care for all different patient categories. This provides varied work as a nurse with us. We apply flexible schedules based on individual needs. For example, longer work shifts with more days off. Within Region Dalarna, you have the opportunity to further specialize as a specialist nurse or midwife while maintaining your salary. Mora Hospital has an employee gym and a training facility where group exercise is offered. The Region also offers a wellness allowance of maximum 2,000 kr/year. Job Duties The work includes assessment of acutely ill patients, medication management, documentation, and patient care. At our emergency department, patients are prioritized/triaged using RETTS Triage, a quality-assured tool used at virtually all emergency departments in Sweden. With the patient perspective in focus, you as a nurse hold responsibility for patient care. Our goal is for patients to feel safe, receive proper care and treatment, and feel helped after their visit with us. Qualifications We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse and we would like to see that you have previous care experience and feel secure in your professional role. It is advantageous if you have previously worked in acute care and/or have further training in acute care or district health care.
