We provide emergency medical care and evaluate and treat approximately 58,000 patients per year, of which just under 20 percent are admitted to the hospital for continued care. The clinic naturally conducts advanced trauma and emergency medical care.

When you are newly hired as a nurse at the emergency department, you will start with an introduction that runs over six weeks. The introduction includes training and practice with the medical technical equipment used at the emergency department.
There are good opportunities for your own area of responsibility and great opportunities to be involved in developing the operations broadly, and we would like to see that you have an interest in development. We work around the clock and apply individual scheduling over an eight-week period. We have our own emergency agreement that includes time allocation linked to unsociable hours, which can enable a work schedule as low as 32h/week.

Job Description
An emergency team consists of a nursing assistant, a nurse and a doctor with shared patients, working hours and workplaces. Daily work is led together by a charge nurse and a medical director (on-call emergency care). Students are important to us and are thus a natural part of the team. In your role as a nurse, it is required that you can work independently and see your role in the team in order to make decisions and prioritize for the best of patients and the team.
About You
We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse or specialist nurse who also has a few years of experience in the profession. It is meritorious to have a focus on emergency care and experience from emergency care. You have very good knowledge of the Swedish language both orally and in writing.
As a person, you work well within the team and with other professional groups. You listen, communicate and resolve conflicts constructively. You have an interest in being involved in development and you are flexible and easily adapt to changed circumstances as you like to see opportunities and solutions rather than difficulties. In stressful situations, you are able to remain calm and stable for the patient's benefit and so that teamwork flows smoothly. You recognize that your approach is of great importance in the contact you establish with patients, which means you have a good ability to meet people where they are in different critical situations. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
