This encompasses both the scientific knowledge area and patient-centered work based on a humanistic view of people. You are responsible for ensuring that our residents' healthcare needs are met. As a nurse, you are responsible for and lead nursing care work. This means independently, in team collaboration, and in partnership with the resident and their family, taking responsibility for assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care. An important task is also to mentor, support, and educate other care staff and be a good role model for your colleagues. You work with care and consideration in everything you do, with great personal responsibility, and have the ability to prioritize and lead others even in changing circumstances. Flexibility and collegial collaboration are of great importance in this role. About Sätraåsens Elderly Care Facility Here there are 72 modern apartments with a focus on dementia and care, distributed across 8 units and 4 floors. Our residents have access to a light therapy room decorated with a connection to the area around Gävle. In addition, we offer a hair salon, common rooms, and a library. The facility is surrounded by a large pergola with a water feature, greenhouse, and garden beds. At Sätraåsen, nurses work daytime hours, Monday–Friday, between 07:00–16:00, as well as weekend duty every fourth weekend. Occupational therapist and physical therapist are available daytime, Monday–Friday.
