Description Unit 368 provides care for abstinence treatment and tapering of alcohol, medications, and drugs. All care is provided on a voluntary basis according to HSL and no compulsory care is performed at 368. Patients receive safe and secure abstinence treatment through medication, social planning, and collaboration. Work Tasks You will be part of a team of five nurses. The unit is staffed with experienced care assistants, a social worker, pharmacists, and physicians/junior physicians. You plan, lead, delegate, and perform daily patient care together with the care team. As a registered nurse, you perform wound treatment, pain management, medication distribution, and specimen collection. Patients with various dependency conditions often have significant somatic comorbidities, which means there is a focus on identifying and treating these conditions during the care period. We appreciate short decision-making paths, so all professional categories work and operate on the same unit. We work on a five-week schedule where you work two weekends out of five. Day, evening, and weekend shifts occur. Qualifications We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse. Preferably with prior experience in dependency care. You will work closely with patients and have good interpersonal skills, understanding, and interest in people. Based on the patient's needs, you have the ability to lead, distribute, and coordinate work tasks to the team according to team members' varying competence. We warmly welcome your application! The Clinical Base Year is mandatory and lasts throughout the first year of your employment with us. The Clinical Base Year includes lectures, nursing mentorship, and practical training of your profession at the Simulator Center. In addition, it also includes service at a minimum of two different units to broaden your competence. In case of recruitment of nurses/physicians with foreign credentials/specialist certification, the position will be preceded by a process to meet the requirements for Swedish credentials/specialist certification.
