The local healthcare area of Skellefteå includes the Emergency Department, the Center for Operating Activities, Medical and Geriatric Clinic, Rehabilitation Center, Psychiatric Clinic, and primary care in Skellefteå and Norsjö. Together, these should provide good and accessible care. The Psychiatric Clinic, which consists of approximately 250 employees. Both outpatient and inpatient care, as well as psychiatric compulsory care, are provided here. Outpatient care consists of an On-Call and Assessment Unit, which includes eating disorder services and the SPOT program, two adult clinics serving patients aged 26 and above, the Young Adults clinic serving ages 18-25, a medical unit, an MBT team, and a geriatric team. Inpatient care consists of a general psychiatric ward and a residential unit with an associated detoxification unit. Addiction care also includes an outpatient clinic and a LARO clinic. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES As a registered nurse with us, you contribute knowledge and commitment that make people feel secure. We are now seeking licensed registered nurses for the addiction department. Your duties will consist of performing varied nursing tasks; as a registered nurse with us, you have a broad care perspective with the patient at the center. You will work in close collaboration with other staff within the unit, family members, and care colleagues. We offer you an individually adapted orientation based on your needs, with continuous follow-up after the introductory period. We want everyone to feel secure in their work role and will do what is necessary for you to feel confident. We therefore have our own mentorship program at the clinic where we assign an experienced registered nurse as a mentor for you as a new employee. As part of the orientation, you will also complete a digital introductory training. QUALIFICATIONS Licensed registered nurse, advanced education in psychiatry, and experience in addiction care are advantageous. Valuable qualities include collaboration skills, flexibility, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Employment Type: Permanent position. Duration: Start date by agreement.
