Psychiatric Clinic Southern Lapland is an outpatient facility serving all diagnostic groups. Inpatient beds are located in Skellefteå and Umeå. In our operations, we have approximately 45 employees, most of us are at Lycksele Hospital, and we also have staff at other locations in Southern Lapland. At the clinic, we work in multidisciplinary teams and we frequently use digital communication tools. You will meet patients in different life situations and you will have time to get to know them. Work tasks that often vary will give you broad competence. We have long distances between our facilities, but that does not prevent us from having close collaborations with short decision-making paths. We help each other and care about one another. WORK TASKS As a nurse with us, you contribute with knowledge and commitment that makes people feel secure. With us, you work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. As a nurse with us, you will mainly work as an outpatient nurse where triage, telephone advice to care neighbors, and planning of interventions are included. You are responsible for medication management, follow-up during pharmacological treatment, specimen collection, and conversations based on patient needs. You assist with somatic knowledge and contribute with a holistic perspective on the medical, somatic, social, and psychiatric areas. QUALIFICATIONS For this job, you need to be a licensed nurse with an interest in psychiatry. If you are a specialist nurse in psychiatry or have previously worked in psychiatric outpatient and/or inpatient care, that is a merit. You must have a good command of Swedish, both spoken and written. Collaboration skills and flexibility are valuable qualities, as is interest in development work. You have good communication skills and an empathetic approach. Employment Type: Fixed-term employment. Duration: 6 months or longer, start date: As soon as possible by agreement, expires: 2027-02-28.
