The Geriatric Centre is a specialist clinic for patients requiring both acute and planned geriatric care and rehabilitation. A comprehensive assessment of the elderly patient's medical, physical, mental, and social functional capacity in the context of illness is performed by interprofessional teams. Diagnostics, treatment, and rehabilitation are provided in inpatient and outpatient settings with the patient's individual needs in focus. Orthopedic Geriatrics, Ward 4, has 20 care beds specializing in subacute orthopedic geriatric care and rehabilitation. We are now seeking a new nurse colleague primarily for day/evening/weekend work and possibly night shifts if needed and agreed upon according to an AB schedule. Are you the person we're looking for? JOB DUTIES As a nurse with us, you contribute with knowledge and commitment that makes people feel secure. Your work as a nurse includes nursing responsibility and nursing care work together with nursing assistants, medical interventions based on the patient's condition and medical orders, as well as collaboration with other professionals in the care team, other healthcare providers, and the patient's family members. QUALIFICATIONS You are a licensed nurse, preferably with specialist training for nurses in orthopedics and/or geriatrics. For us to consider you the right candidate, we see that you have good collaboration skills, where you listen and communicate with both patients and colleagues. It is important that you feel comfortable handling administrative tasks. It is an advantage if you have experience in teamwork and geriatric nursing care.
