WORK RESPONSIBILITIES As a registered nurse with us, you collaborate with base staff, other nurses, and other healthcare professionals in our common work with patients. Our patients live in care, support, and residential facilities as well as in regular housing. You use a vehicle for work purposes, and the position includes both scheduled and unscheduled home visits. The role also includes delegation, medication management, and supervision of both staff and patients. Under an agreement with Region Jämtland/Härjedalen, the municipality is responsible for evening and night primary care coverage, which provides increased variety and breadth in patient cases. The work is varied and you will meet patients in different life situations with varying needs. You will conduct assessments of healthcare needs, prioritize interventions, and also provide some telephone advice. Your role includes delegating, advising, and supervising employees in patient care work. You work in close collaboration with various professions within your own organization and with other healthcare providers. Working hours are scheduled for evenings and nights on a rotating schedule that includes two weekend shifts per six-week period. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you as a licensed registered nurse who wants to be part of our team during night shifts. It is advantageous if you have further education as a specialist nurse with a focus on district nursing, palliative care, or elderly care. Additional merit if you have experience in home healthcare. As a person, you are stable and can remain calm even in stressful situations. You are attentive to patients and their families and have a natural ability to build trusting relationships - something particularly important at night when you often work independently. You need to be self-driven but also collaborative, as good cooperation with colleagues, night staff, and other professions is crucial for a functioning night shift. We value an unpretentious approach, where you actively contribute to a good work environment and help create a workplace where both patients and colleagues feel secure. The work requires strong medical competence, good computer skills, and documentation ability. You also need to be able to express yourself well both verbally and in writing.
