We are part of the Department of Surgery at Sunderby Hospital – a dynamic unit with three care units, two outpatient clinics, and day services. Department 53 is growing steadily and is staffed with dedicated personnel; our goal is continued growth and development. We are looking for We are looking for you – a licensed nurse who wants to work night shifts. You will join a stable work group with experienced night staff. Experience in surgical nursing or emergency care is a merit, and although we appreciate several years of experience, we also encourage those new to the nursing profession to apply. We place great value on personal qualities. You are self-driven and take initiative, while remaining calm and stable in stressful situations. Your problem-solving ability helps you handle challenges in a constructive way. What you will work with As a nurse with us, you are responsible for patient care work. You will meet and care for acutely ill patients and perform medical and nursing-related interventions. The work also involves handling and monitoring advanced medical equipment. You will work in an interdisciplinary team where collaboration with physicians, nursing assistants, physiotherapists, and other professional categories is a central part of the work. Together we create safe, person-centered, and evidence-based care. In your role, you will have the opportunity to develop in a stimulating environment where the variety in patient flow means no two days are alike. Working hours are scheduled for nights, and weekend duty is included. Selection and interviews take place on an ongoing basis, and the position may be filled before the final application deadline.
