Job Responsibilities
Your duties will be typical nursing responsibilities within inpatient care. As a nurse, your work will include blood draws, catheter placement, EKG, blood pressure monitoring, blood glucose testing, NEWS assessments, and wound care. You will also be responsible for patient care and close collaboration with other staff members on the ward, patients' families, and other departments. Your administrative work will include documentation in Cosmic.

Department 1 has 18 care beds specializing in cardiac and pulmonary patients. Patients come for follow-up care from the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit with telemetry monitoring, as well as from the emergency room or via referral. The ward has high patient turnover with relatively short stays.
As a nurse with us, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team alongside other nurses, nursing assistants, physicians, occupational therapists, physical therapists, speech-language pathologists, and dietitians.

Qualifications
We are looking for a licensed nurse, preferably with work experience in the field. Prior experience working in a similar healthcare setting is a merit. Experience with Cosmic and acute care, preferably with a focus on cardiac and pulmonary care, is a merit.
As a person, you are confident, stable, and have good self-awareness. Since work in this environment can change rapidly in various ways, you need to be flexible and able to maintain your calm and focus in new situations. You have a good ability to structure your own work and take responsibility for your tasks. We work in teams and view collaboration and clarity as very important for success. Because we work closely with both patients and families, empathy is important to you. Since your role requires you to communicate verbally and in writing with patients, families, and colleagues, you must have good knowledge of the Swedish language. Additional language skills are a merit.
Employment Terms
Permanent full-time employment, night shift. Start date September 1 or by agreement. We apply individual and differentiated salary setting.
